In France's toy capital, discover a selection of 2,000 toys from the nineteenth century to today, from a collection of 10,000 pieces. One temporary exhibition a year, an audiovisual room, shop, play areas, accommodation. In December, special "Christmas in Toyland" events with a wooden-toy-making workshop, Father Christmas's Workshop.
The toy museum of Moirans-en-Montagne is a museum of games and toys founded in 1989, in the heart of the Haut-Jura regional nature park. Labelled Musée de France and devoted to the history of the Jura toy industry, it holds a large collection of 16,000 old games and toys from around the world, spanning 5,000 years of history.
