Musée de la Boissellerie
The Musée de la Boissellerie is housed in a sawmill restored by enthusiasts from the village. The river Orbe still drives the water turbine today.
Meet the men and women of Bois-d'Amont who, through their know-how, made the most of wood to produce boxes, caskets, clock cases... and skis. Most of these works are in spruce, king of our forests. During a guided tour, discover the evolution of techniques and machines and the ingenuity of Haut-Jura craftsmen, through several themed rooms: the box-makers' workshop, wooden shingles, the sawmill... and a room devoted to the history of skiing!
