La Cascade de la Billaude
The Billaude waterfall is a double fall formed by the Lemme, in the commune of Le Vaudioux, in the Jura. It consists of two successive leaps, for a total height of 28 m, and lies in the Lemme gorges, at about 553 m altitude.
Several viewpoints, at different heights, offer views of the fall. It is reached from departmental road 279. The site is among the listed sites of the département.
The wooded setting, in the hollow of a limestone cirque, served as a filming location for scenes of the film Un ours dans le Jura, directed by Franck Dubosc in 2024.
