Le Musée de la Préhistoire

With nearly 20,000 visitors a year, the Sartène Museum is the second archaeology museum in Corsica, after Aléria. Set in the centre of the town, in the heart of the region of Corsica richest in megalithic monuments, the present museum's essential aim is to permanently present to the public the prehistoric collections that illustrate the daily life of island civilisations before the Roman conquest.
