Le Hohneck
The Hohneck peaks at 1,363 metres in the commune of La Bresse and is one of the highest summits of the Vosges massif, often presented as the high point of the Vosges département. Shaped by glacial erosion, it keeps cirques and chaumes characteristic of the High Vosges. Accessible by the Route des Crêtes, its summit offers a panorama over the Alsace plain and the Black Forest, and as far as the Alps in clear weather. The site, very busy in summer and winter, has several typical farm-inns.
