Falaises de Bonifacio

Corse-du-Sud, Corse

From the top of its cliffs, Bonifacio, the southernmost of Corsican towns, has a thousand years of history. A town apart, both by its past and by its geography that defies the laws of imagination. Set on a natural promontory, the old town faces nearby Sardinia; from its high limestone cliffs, it overlooks the "Bouches de Bonifacio", international shipping lanes. The marina has made the best use of space while preserving its picturesque Mediterranean character. It is equipped to host 400 vessels. The many terraces of bars, ice-cream shops, restaurants and shops welcome you in an enchanting setting, lulled by the soft murmur of the surf.
