Rochers l'Ours et le Poulpe
The Bear and Octopus rocks are two oddly shaped granite blocks south of the small port of Campomoro, in the Corse-du-Sud, at the head of the Aucia valley. Shaped by erosion, they suggest, depending on the angle, the outline of a bear and that of an octopus.
They are seen on a walk along the Campomoro coastal path, an area protected by the Conservatoire du Littoral on the Gulf of Valinco, known for its Genoese towers and unspoilt scrubland.
