Château de Rosières
The château de Rosières is an authentic fortress of the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries, at Saint-Seine-sur-Vingeanne, in the Côte-d'Or. It is crowned with a belt of machicolations that forms a wall-walk at the top of the building. Located on the borders of Burgundy, Franche-Comté and Champagne, it was built for the defence of Burgundy.
You can admire part of the moats and the entrance porch. The site is visited in a Burgundian countryside setting, near the Vingeanne valley.
