Tourbières de Kerfontaine
Located in eastern Morbihan, in the Landes de Lanvaux massif, this peat bog is the last significant area of this sector for peat habitats. It is characterised by peaty heaths, sometimes mesophilic, sometimes dry, surrounded by pine plantations and fern undergrowth. This type of wetland, fed by rainwater, shelters a specialised flora adapted to poor, acid soils, typical of Breton inland heaths.
