Roc branlant
The large lake of Saint-Estèphe, in the Dordogne, is a picturesque site given over to swimming, fishing and various water sports.
A few metres from the lake, a path leads to the 'Devil's Rosary', a jumble of round rocks through which a stream flows. The 'rocking stone' is an enormous granite block that has fallen onto a flat base, where it rests in balance and can rock.
