Cincle de Trémolat
The Trémolat bend is one of the most famous meanders of the Dordogne, formed by the river between the communes of Trémolat and Mauzac-et-Grand-Castang. Seen from its belvedere, this bend unfolds a loop 200 metres wide over nearly 10 kilometres' development, surrounded by a farming plain in a mosaic of crops. An essential viewpoint of the Purple Périgord, a few minutes' detour from the road.
