Grotte de Villars
The Villars cave was discovered in 1953 by the Périgueux speleological club. The developed part belongs to an immense network of which 13 kilometres have been mapped to date. You will meet every type of concretion during the visit: from the most impressive calcite flows to the finest stalactites, translucent draperies, gours, countless stalagmites... The guided visit will let you discover on one site: a natural part with exceptional concretions; a part decorated with prehistoric paintings.
