La ville de Brantôme, la « Venise du Périgord »

Set on an island, at the gates of the Périgord Limousin nature park, the charming town of Brantôme is one of the prettiest towns of the Green Périgord. Its vast abbey on the banks of the Dronne, sheltered by a high rock wall, notably, is one of the finest buildings in the region. One of the main assets of the town of Brantôme is without doubt its natural setting. Among the delicately rolling landscapes of the Green Périgord, it is indeed nestled between two arms of the Dronne, sheltered by a crescent cliff where the very beautiful Brantôme abbey nestles.
