Plage de Lostmarc'h
Lostmarc'h beach, at Crozon, in the Finistère, is one of the most beautiful Breton beaches. It is framed by cliffs, dunes and moors coloured by heather and gorse, with clear water under a often changeable sky. The site also includes the remains of Castel Meur, an ancient Iron Age fort, which overlooks the point.
The beach is mostly appreciated for walking, photography and surfing. Swimming requires caution because of currents. It combines with La Palue beach, the Pointe de Dinan and the Cap de la Chèvre, for a day of discoveries on the Crozon peninsula.
