Plage de la Palue
La Palue beach, at Crozon, in the Finistère, is a large beach of sand and pebbles, open to the Atlantic, at the foot of the cliffs of the Cap de la Chèvre. Waves and wind are frequent there, and the site is much appreciated by experienced surfers, those who like raw landscapes and photographers.
Swimming is discouraged because of currents. People come mainly for the walk on the sand, the panorama from the cliffs and the coastal paths. It is among the wildest sites of the Crozon peninsula, which also includes Lostmarc'h, Morgat and the Pointe de Pen-Hir. Bring warm clothes, even in summer.
