Presqu'île de Crozon
Jutting out into the ocean facing Brest, the Crozon peninsula draws a characteristic cross-shaped silhouette, each branch of which ends in a spectacular point: Pen-Hir, Dinan or the Cap de la Chèvre. Entirely within the Armorique regional nature park, it concentrates on a restricted territory a remarkable diversity of coastal landscapes.
This singular position, at the hinge of the Iroise sea and the Brest roadstead, lets you see from certain points of the peninsula up to three different seas in clear weather. The schist and sandstone cliffs, sculpted by the Atlantic swell, alternate with fine-sand beaches nestled in sheltered coves, like that of Morgat.
A dense network of coastal paths, part of the GR34, lets you cover the whole coastline of the peninsula. The village of Crozon, at the centre of the peninsula, serves as a practical starting point for exploring the different points, late spring and early autumn generally offering the most favourable conditions.
