Musée Miniature et Cinéma

In the heart of Old Lyon, in the prestigious sixteenth-century setting of the "Maison des Avocats", this museum, unique in France, presents two rare and unusual arts: film special effects and the magic of miniatures. Step into large sets used in film shoots and discover a rich collection of authentic objects from shoots by the greatest European and American studios. Eight educational rooms illustrated with miniatures, animatronics, masks, prostheses, robots, costumes, creatures and monsters of all kinds reveal many secrets of the special-effects techniques used in cinema.
