Musée de la résistance et de la déportation
It is symbolically housed in the former military medical school occupied by the Gestapo between spring 1943 and spring 1944. During this period, Klaus Barbie among others conducted brutal interrogations there. The building's cellars, now the heart of the museum, were then used as cells for prisoners before interrogation. The museum also offers temporary exhibitions, some on contemporary subjects such as women's commitment, Chechnya or the fall of the Berlin Wall, giving keys to better understand the world around us.
