Musée Angladon
In a former townhouse, the founders' home, the museum presents masterpieces by Degas, Cézanne, Sisley, Picasso, Modigliani and Van Gogh from the collections of the couturier J. Doucet.
As the donors wished, the rest of the house has kept the charm of an art lovers' interior with numerous paintings, stamped furniture and objets d'art: 17th- and 18th-century drawing room, Renaissance room, artists' studio, Far Eastern cabinet. A museum reinvented in 2016, driven by the wish to create among its visitors an intimate relationship with the masterpieces it keeps, it has reinterpreted its rooms through a new hanging of its permanent collection, clearer, more flavoursome, more revealing.
