Mini World Lyon
Mini World Lyon is an animated miniatures park at Vaulx-en-Velin, in the Carré de Soie leisure district, within the Lyon Metropolis. It opened on 30 June 2016. The park recreates, at H0 scale and over about 3,500 square metres, three great landscape worlds, the town, the countryside and the mountain, animated by trains and vehicles that run autonomously. A day-night cycle punctuates the visit. An extension devoted to Lyon opened in late 2018, with night illuminations inspired by the Festival of Lights. The park hosts temporary exhibitions, for example on Playmobil, Lego or Japan, and hides in its sets nods to characters from films, series and cartoons. It falls into the category of miniatures parks, alongside France Miniature.
