Les cascades de la rivière le lagnon (Albepierre-Bredons)
Many waterfalls and torrents can be discovered along the Lagnon river, with chances for refreshing picnics by the water as well as remarkable heritage (Roman bridges, the Pas de Bœuf buron, the Prapsou cross…).
The Lagnon waterfall: At Prat de Bouc, the first waterfall of a succession of four others, at the foot of the Plomb du Cantal at the exit of the Rocher de Chamalières. On the GR4 and 400.
The Vergnes waterfall: On arriving at the village, take the direction of the Col de Prat de Bouc. On the D39, 3 kilometres from the village, park at the "Pont de fer" and follow the waymarked path on the left. After crossing a stone bridge, you will find the waterfall. For greater safety, a protective barrier has been installed. Easy walk with children.
The Prapsou waterfall: On arriving at the village, follow the direction of the "camping des 3 Pierres". Facing the campsite, climb the little mound topped by a stone cross. You will discover a very beautiful view of the village. Following the path, you will go down to the waterfall that crosses a small wood. Easy walk with children.
