Folie de Finfarine
La Folie de Finfarine is a leisure and discovery park devoted to bees, in Poiroux, in the Vendée, about fifteen minutes from the coast. It occupies a wooded site of about ten hectares on the shores of Lake Finfarine.
The park is aimed mainly at families. You discover the life of bees through the Giant Hive, an interactive route, as well as treasure hunts and playful activities such as the Pollen Ball or the ApiExplora. The "Honey and Bees" workshop lets you watch a hive being opened in complete safety, then taste honey. Other workshops, such as beeswax candle making, complete the offer, and a bee garden invites you to stroll.
On site, a food point offers local products, ice creams and drinks. The park is designed for learning through play, with activities accessible from the youngest age, and is a nature and educational outing in the Vendée, away from the beaches.
