Musée Automobile de Vendée

Vendée, Pays de la Loire

The Musée Automobile de Vendée is on the Les Sables-d'Olonne road at Talmont-Saint-Hilaire, in the Vendée. It presents a collection begun in 1939 by Gaston Giron. A family passion for mechanics and cars has saved more than 200 vehicles, from the 1880s to prototypes of the future.

They are displayed in a 3,300 m² hall decorated with an exceptional collection of period posters and advertising signs. Gaston Giron's first garage, opened in 1929 at Saint-Pierre-du-Chemin, has been reconstructed.
