Château-musée du Cayla

In the Gaillac vineyards, in the Tarn, this traditional Languedoc manor of the 15th and 18th centuries is the birthplace of the Romantic poet Maurice de Guérin (1810-1839). His sister Eugénie kept a journal for him that is a valuable record of the mentality and life of the Tarn in the 19th century.

In a green setting, the museum hosts cultural events throughout the year on poetry, literature and the arts.
