Château de Saint-Saturnin
The castle of Saint-Saturnin, in the Lozère, is recorded among the possessions of the King of France in the 13th century, which places its construction around that time.
In the Middle Ages the Gévaudan was a viscounty divided into eight baronies, plus twelve major seigneuries with the right to sit in the Estates of the Gévaudan. The castle consists of three round towers and a fourth, square one.
