Château de la Mosson
The Château de la Mosson was one of the most important houses in Montpellier, built in the first half of the 18th century by a banker who became Baron de La Mosson. Unfortunately, on the owner's death the house was stripped of its contents. It has since undergone a long restoration.
It was surrounded by a sumptuous park full of statues and a fine Baroque fountain, which is the only survivor today, as the statues were scattered, notably to the Château d'O. The garden is now a public park.
