Château de la Madeleine
The Château de la Madeleine, on the heights of Chevreuse, offers a superb panorama of the Yvette valley. A magnificent fortress, it was built between the eleventh and fourteenth centuries. The Maison du Parc was built inside the castle walls, and in its cellars an exhibition, "Castle life", traces the fortress's history.
The Château de la Madeleine is a well-preserved fortified castle at Chevreuse, in the Yvelines, overlooking the Chevreuse valley. It belongs to the Yvelines departmental council and houses the headquarters of the Haute Vallée de Chevreuse regional nature park.
