Château de la Faye
The Château de la Faye, in the Puy-de-Dôme, is a former 12th-century fortified house that developed over time until the French Revolution, by which time it had long since become a true fortified castle. It takes its name from the river it overlooks.
Owned for three hundred years by the Provenchères family, it was inherited in 2001 by a young couple who aim to restore it to its former splendour.
