Château de Kerjean

Finistère, Bretagne

The château de Kerjean is at Saint-Vougay, in the Finistère, half an hour from Morlaix. This Renaissance residence was built by the Barbier family from the end of the sixteenth century, and listed as a Historic Monument in 1911.

Inside, you discover large fireplaces and Breton furniture. The outbuildings include a sixteenth-century dovecote, a fountain and justice pillars.

A wooded park of twenty hectares surrounds the castle and invites a stroll. The site regularly hosts events, such as archaeology days or an immersive night show in summer.
