Cascade du Palin
Not far from the Lac de Nantua, the Palin waterfall nestles in a wooded fold of the Haut-Bugey, in the Ain, a region of steep limestone relief and conifer forests.
The fall, modest but steady, feeds a stream that joins the lake's catchment, the centrepiece of this small town known for its quenelle and its lake popular with anglers. The access path crosses woodland typical of the southern Jura.
