Abbaye des Prémontrés
The Premonstratensian abbey of Pont-à-Mousson, also known as Sainte-Marie-Majeure, is a vast 18th-century building in the Saint-Martin district, on the banks of the Moselle at Pont-à-Mousson, in the Meurthe-et-Moselle.
Formerly occupied by the Premonstratensian order, the abbey is now a cultural centre for the Lorraine region. The church, the grand staircase, the library, the rooms opening onto the cloister, the refectory and the cloister have been listed as historic monuments since 30 July 1910, and the former seminary since 19 September 1919.
