Villeréal

Villeréal is in the south-west of France, in the south of the Dordogne, between Bergerac and Agen. A covered market of vast proportions, with an upper storey of wattle, was set on the main square. The church, a true fortress, dates from the thirteenth century. Strolling in the lanes, you will discover half-timbered, corbelled and mullioned houses as well as old-style walled gardens.
