Plage du Val-André
Val-André beach, at Pléneuf-Val-André, in the Côtes-d'Armor, is a large beach of fine sand in the Bay of Saint-Brieuc, bordered by a promenade seawall stretching over more than a kilometre. A seaside resort born in the late nineteenth century, the town has kept many Belle Époque villas and an atmosphere of family holidays.
You can swim, sand-yacht or shore-fish there, and enjoy walking on the seawall or on the coastal paths towards Le Piégu and Le Verdelet, a small rocky island. The atmosphere is peaceful, and the site combines with Cap Fréhel, Fort La Latte and Erquy, further east.
