Plage de la Calanque de Sugiton
The Sugiton calanque is in the Calanques national park, between Marseille and Cassis, at the foot of high limestone cliffs. It includes two small coves lined with pebble beaches; opposite stands the islet of the Torpilleur, whose shape evokes a warship, and further on flat stone slabs and the calanque des Pierres Tombées give access to the water.
The site is reached on foot by paths from the Luminy area. During the summer, access to the coastal part of Sugiton and Pierres Tombées is subject to a free online reservation with the Calanques national park, with a daily limit of about 400 visitors in 2026; the Col de Sugiton remains freely accessible.
From 1 June to 30 September, the prefecture decides each evening whether the massifs open for the next day depending on fire risk; you must therefore check before leaving.
