Plage de Piémanson
Piémanson beach is a very long wild beach of the Camargue, in the commune of Arles, near Salin-de-Giraud. It unrolls several kilometres of sand and dunes, open to the Mediterranean, with only light, wind and the silhouettes of the salt-works installations in the distance as decor. Sunsets there are particularly beautiful.
The site has very few facilities: you come with your own water, shade and provisions, and leave with your rubbish. Out of season, it is almost deserted and suits long walks. Like the whole Camargue coast, it is sensitive: respect the dunes, wildlife and on-site instructions.
