Naturoscope - Musée de la Mer
In Marseille, in the Bouches-du-Rhône, the Naturoscope has opened two environmental education centres for children, in partnership with the district town halls.
The Maison de la Mer, on the Plage du Prophète, offers activities to discover the riches of the Mediterranean: aquariums, a library, a mural, exhibitions, films, games and educational sheets. The Maison de la Nature, in the Parc Pastré, offers activities on biodiversity: a Mediterranean garden and gardening workshops, woodland with a botanical trail, an educational pond and aquarium, and activity rooms.
