Parc Spirou

Vaucluse, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur

Parc Spirou is a theme park in Monteux, in the Vaucluse. Inaugurated on 1 June 2018 and opened to the public on 16 June, it is devoted to the world of Spirou, a character from the Dupuis publishing house. Other licences have joined it: Lucky Luke, Gaston Lagaffe, the Marsupilami, the Smurfs, Boule et Bill, Zombillénium, Kid Paddle, Petit Poilu and, since 2026, Naruto. The park has around twenty attractions, including several roller coasters such as Le Nid des Marsupilamis, opened in 2019, as well as water rides such as Splash Piranha. It added a Kid Paddle area in 2022 and then a Smurf village in 2024, the year the operator bought the neighbouring Wave Island water park. In 2026, the new Naruto area includes the Kyûbi Unchained roller coaster. The park welcomed around 320,000 visitors in 2023.
