Panorama du Roc des Hourtous

A balcony of the Causse Méjean, the Roc des Hourtous panorama overlooks by 500 m the narrowest part of the Tarn Gorges: the Détroits. It is also in the evening a dormitory for vultures. In spring orchids abound; without being a botanist you can still admire them! A belvedere over the Gorges where the view takes in a whole grandiose section of the Gorges, from the hamlet of L'Angle to the Cirque des Baumes.
