Le Pas de Soucy
The Pas de Soucy is a site in the Gorges du Tarn, in Lozère, where the river partly disappears under a chaos of rocky blocks before reappearing downstream. This landslide, formed by the collapse of a cliff, created a striking landscape of rapids and deep pools. A path and a viewpoint let you observe the site from the heights, between the hamlets of La Sablière and Les Vignes. Local legend places there the confrontation between Saint Enimie and the Drac, a fantastic creature of the waters.
