Musée Lorrain

Meurthe-et-Moselle, Grand Est

The Musée lorrain was founded in 1848 by the Société d'histoire de la Lorraine et du Musée lorrain. Since its creation it has occupied the former palace of the Dukes of Lorraine, in Renaissance style, in Nancy. The museum presents the history of Lorraine from the first humans to the present day, tracing the life of the former duchy of Lorraine and its capital Nancy, as well as Lorraine arts and traditions.
