Musée des impressionnismes Giverny
The Giverny Museum of Impressionisms (abbreviated MDIG) is a museum in the village of Giverny, in the Eure département (Haute-Normandie region, France). Formerly the museum of American art, the Museum of Impressionisms opened its doors in 2009 in the building created in 1992 by the firm Reichen et Robert. It should not be confused with the Claude Monet Foundation, also in Giverny.
The Giverny Museum of Impressionisms is an art museum in Giverny, on the eastern edge of the Eure, in Normandy. This village has become one of the high places of Impressionism thanks to Claude Monet, who painted his Water Lilies series there. In 2009, this museum replaced the Museum of American Art.
