Musée alsacien

Bas-Rhin, Grand Est

The Musée Alsacien in Strasbourg, in the Bas-Rhin, is a museum of popular arts and traditions presenting traditional Alsatian life from the 17th to the 20th century: housing, furniture, everyday objects, ceramics, costumes, religious objects, toys and crafts.

Most of these objects are shown in reconstructed interiors and craft workshops, which illustrate the ways of life of the past in the countryside and towns of Alsace.
