Les Trois Pignons

Seine-et-Marne, Île-de-France

The Trois Pignons massif covers about 2,300 hectares straddling Seine-et-Marne and Essonne, west of the Fontainebleau forest. It takes its name from a three-pointed rock resembling pine cones, in a contrasting landscape mixing stretches of white sand and rock chaos. Very popular with climbers, hikers and riders, the massif is crossed notably by the famous 25 Bosses circuit, a 14-kilometre loop.
