Les cascades des Anglais
The Cascades des Anglais are in the Vizzavona forest, on the Agnone torrent, in the commune of Vivario. Several small falls follow one another and plunge into natural pools, in the middle of a varied forest.
The name dates from the nineteenth and early twentieth century: British officers of the Indian army, accompanied by their families, came to stay at Vizzavona for the benefits of a spring. The path starts near the station and follows the route of the GR 20 along the Agnone. It is well marked and accessible without great difficulty, which makes it an easy walk for families.
