Gorges de Spelunca
The Spelunca gorges stretch between the villages of Ota and Evisa, in Corse-du-Sud, carved by the Aitone and Tavulella rivers, which meet to form the Porto. The walk follows an old mule track starting at the Deux-Ponts of Ota, on the D124, and winds through a landscape of pink granite above turquoise water.
The route passes several Genoese bridges, including the Pianella bridge, about 200 m downstream from the start, then the Zaglia bridge, reached after about an hour's walk. Listed among the remarkable sites of Corsica, the gorges also have many pools for swimming in summer.
