Le Parc Borély

Bouches-du-Rhône, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur

Parc Borély is one of the parks of the city of Marseille. It is in the 8th arrondissement, close to the Prado beaches and the Corniche.

The park consists of a vast English garden, and a French-style garden, in the continuation of the Château Borély. It also includes a rose garden, a botanical garden and a traditional Chinese garden given by the city of Shanghai in 2004. In all, Parc Borély extends over 17 hectares. Several sculptures adorn the park, including "L'Homme aux Oiseaux" by Jean-Michel Folon.
