La Cascade de Glandieu
The Glandieu waterfall, in the Ain, is formed by the Glandieu stream tumbling down the cliff in two successive drops, for a total height of about 60 metres. The water falls from a wooded ledge down to the Rhône plain, surrounded by limestone walls and dense vegetation.
A laid-out path leads close to the foot of the falls, where visitors can enjoy the coolness of the site, much sought after during hot summer spells.
