Grottes de Lamouroux
The Lamouroux caves, at Noailles in the Corrèze, are a group of cavities carved into a cliff and once inhabited. Seen from a bend in the approach road, three of them look like a skull, with two caves for the eyes and one for the mouth.
The site used to be reached by a small path from a car park below, for a walk of about an hour and a half. Since the rockfall in the winter of 2016, access to the cliffs has been closed to the public.
