Fontaine de Pescalerie
The Pescalerie resurgence gushes about three kilometres upstream of Cabrerets, in the Célé valley, in the Lot. It feeds the Célé directly and gives access to a vast network of galleries, dry and flooded, explored by cave divers. The village of Cabrerets leans against the Rochecourbe cliff, at the confluence of the Célé and the Sagne.
An old mill, once driven by the energy of the spring, leans against the resurgence. The water, laden with limestone, has gradually invaded its installations. The mill cannot be visited, but the site is easy to spot from the road and warrants a photo stop. Nearby is the Pech Merle cave, the commune's famous prehistoric site.
