Ferme Exotique

Gironde, Nouvelle-Aquitaine

The Ferme Exotique is an animal park in Cadaujac, in the Gironde, south of Bordeaux. Depending on the sources, it presents from 800 to more than 1,000 animals, mixing farm animals and more unusual species such as wallabies, alpacas, guanacos and capybaras.

The park is known for its dromedary breeding, presented as one of the largest in France, and has a conservatory of endangered domestic breeds. The animals live in landscaped spaces, which makes it a well-liked educational outing for families and children.

The site also offers carriage rides and can host receptions and events. As the information available on its current opening status is contradictory, it is advisable to check with the park before travelling.
